My wedding quilt

My grandma took all of the fabric pieces from the wedding that we used and made a quilt for me. She was a little worried because shes never made anything with as bright of patterns as I had. I think its amazing and I couldn't have asked for anything better. this is something I'm going to cherish forever. It fits a king size bed

other work

the first print is a print made from a plastic sheet and using a jigsaw and reduction type print. it was one of my first on this type of material and i will never print on this material again. i had to many chunks of skin taken out on my hands because of this. the second print which is a tree is a woodblock cut. its my second woodblock print. I really enjoy how the tree almost looks like its glowing. purely accidentel. the last print is a linoleum cut, its a reduction print made with 10 different shades of color. a faint pink turned into a orange with layers of blue and transperancy base to get the dark rich color.

here is some of my work from last semester

this is a relief print of my best friends triplets. Its not the best picture of it, it definetly looks better in person. My best friend Kristi is actually pregnant with her 5th and final child. So, I hope you like this print i kept it a very neutral color because I wanted the print to speak more then the color.
